ASRock is preparing to release the Radeon 7900 XTX Aqua OC graphics card, equipped with a full coverage water block for inclusion in a custom liquid cooling system. The novelty will belong to the premium segment of the manufacturer's products, and will be the first video card from the Aqua series - previously only flagship motherboards were produced, also with liquid cooling.
The Radeon 7900 XTX Aqua OC supposedly uses a non-referenced PCB from the Radeon RX 7900 XTX Taichi model. The video card is equipped with three 8-pin connectors for additional power. The thickness of the novelty is two expansion slots. It is equipped with a full coverage water block with an acrylic window.
ASRock Aqua series products stand out not only for their equipment but also for their high cost. These are limited edition flagship solutions, so they are not as popular with mainstream consumers as they are with the enthusiast and overclocker community.
It should be noted that ASRock has not yet announced plans to release the X670E Aqua motherboard for AMD Ryzen 7000 processors. Therefore, in the case of the AMD platform, the Radeon 7900 XTX Aqua OC graphics card will ideally match (in design) only with the motherboard based on AMD X570 chipset. At least until the manufacturer introduces a model based on a new set of system logic.
ASRock Aqua board based on Intel Z790 chipset for Raptor Lake processors was also not shown. However, as you know, Intel's new chips work fine on previous generation boards based on the Z690 chipset.
According to VideoCardz, the Radeon 7900 XTX Aqua OC graphics card will be officially unveiled on December 13th.
