Vivo recently launched its flagship Vivo X90 smartphone series in China. The other day, two new Vivo handsets were discovered in the 3C certification platform database.
The smartphones are speculated to be part of the upcoming Vivo S16 series.
Two new Vivo phones with model numbers V2244A and V2245A have appeared in the database of Chinese certification platform 3C. Both smartphones will receive 5G support and will ship with an 80W fast charger. It is reported that smartphones will go on sale under the names Vivo S16 and Vivo S16 Pro.
The 3C certification suggests that the Vivo S16 series will soon launch in China. It is likely that the S16 and S16 Pro could debut in December or early 2023. It is also reported that the S16 family will include another model called the Vivo S16e.
According to insider information, the Vivo S16 will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chip. The Vivo S16 Pro will likely feature the new Dimensity 8200 SoC. It is also expected to feature the Vivo V1+ imaging chip. As for the S16e model, it can get the Dimensity 1080 chipset.
