Chinese company TCL has introduced a new mid-range smartphone called the TCL 40R 5G in Europe.
The device is equipped with a 6.6-inch LCD display that offers HD+ resolution with support for 90Hz frequency.
The TCL 40R 5G electronic circuit is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 700 mobile chipset. The gadget is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of permanent memory (there is a slot for microSD cards). As a software platform, the developer used the Android 12 operating system with a TCL UI 4.0 graphical interface.
The selfie camera received an 8 MP image sensor. There are three modules on the rear panel: a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor designed to create a bokeh effect. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side of the smartphone.
The TCL 40R 5G is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast wired charging. There's also a symmetrical USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The TCL 40 5G comes in Stardust Purple and Starlight Black color options. Prices in Europe start at €240.
