"My Name is Vendetta" is the new action thriller from Netflix

My Name is Vendetta is the latest film to make its debut on the Netflix streaming platform. It is an action thriller written and directed by Cosimo Gomez and starring Alessandro Gassmann ("Correio de Risco 2"), Ginevra Francesconi ("Regina") and Remo Girone ("Le Mans '66: O Duelo" ).

When his wife and brother-in-law are murdered by enemies from the past, a former Mafia member and his daughter flee to Milan, where they plot revenge.

Sofia is a reserved teenager, who spends her time between hockey matches, a modality in which she is a champion, and off-road driving lessons. But one day, and against her father Santo's orders, she discreetly photographs him and posts the photo on her Instagram. And that innocuous publication changes both their lives forever. Two criminals follow the trail of the image, enter Sofia's family home and brutally kill her mother and uncle, thus starting a reckoning that matured for almost twenty years.

Sofia will discover that the truth has always been hidden from her, and that Santo has a dark past as a member of the N'drangheta. Although not without some conflict, Sofia will surrender to a legacy of fury and violence, allying with her father in search of relentless revenge.
