Xperia line may have models based on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 6 Gen 1 hardware

Japanese web resource SumahoDigest has published some details about upcoming Sony Xperia smartphones.

The publication in particular reports three main models on the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 single-chip system - Sony Xperia 1 V, Sony Xperia 5 V and Sony Xperia PRO-II. The first two smartphones will also have large 1-inch optical sensors and a high-quality sound system.

Sony Xperia 10 V belongs to mid-range smartphones and will be built on Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 mobile chipset (Xperia 10 IV's predecessor was based on Snapdragon 695 5G processor). In addition, the portal informs about a relatively cheap and compact device Sony Xperia Ace IV. It will be based on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 platform.

As for the timing of the launch, the models will appear on the market no earlier than next year. It is not yet known about prices.
