Today in China, Oppo held a big presentation in which it presented the new smartphones of the Reno 9 series. We are talking about the Oppo Reno 9 and Reno 9 Pro models.
The hardware platform of the Reno 9 Pro device is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max single-chip system. The chip, manufactured according to 5nm process technology standards, includes four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.85 GHz, four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2 GHz and a Mali-G610 MC6 graphics adapter.
The Reno 9 and Reno 9 Pro models are equipped with 6.7-inch 120 Hz OLED screens with Full HD+ resolution. At the top center of the screen is a 32-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus.
On the back of the Reno 9 Pro is a set of dual cameras. The design consists of a 50 MP Sony IMX890 main sensor and an 8 MP add-on module.
The Reno 9 model has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor and a 64 MP main camera and 2 MP sensors.
Standalone smartphone operation is provided by a 4500mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging.
Android 13 is pre-installed as an operating system with a proprietary ColorOS 13 shell. An NFC chip and Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 wireless modules are available.
In the Chinese market, the Reno 9 Pro smartphone will be on sale at a price of $489 and $531 for the 16/256GB and 16/512GB versions respectively.
Oppo Reno 9 with 8GB RAM and 256GB flash drive costs $349. A smartphone with a 12GB/256GB memory kit will cost $377. The higher version (12GB/512GB) costs $377. 419.
