The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro smartphones that went on sale appear to be the first devices on the Android market that have completely switched to a 64-bit version of the system.
Google itself has not said anything about this, but some new product owners have already come across the fact that they cannot install 32-bit apps on their smartphones. For example, the sensational game Flappy Bird.
The check showed that Android is still installed on the new Pixels, which has 32-bit system libraries, however some features are likely to prevent this software from working.
Google itself stopped accepting apps on Google Play without a 64-bit version last year, but now we see that the company has decided to push the industry even further with its example.
