iOS 16.1: Now with permissions to copy and paste in apps
iOS 16.1 is still in the beta period and with it the dynamics of new functions to try and test among users enrolled in the Developer Program. It is very likely that the new version will arrive in the next few weeks as we have the Release Candidate among us, and with it the first major update after the release of iOS 16.1. There are many functions that were left in the inkwell at the launch of iOS 16 and gradually the updates will bring them. In the last beta, an option was added to manage permissions to copy and paste content for each app in the Settings menu.
We already know that iPadOS 16 will officially arrive on October 24th. So everything seems to indicate that the final version of iOS 16.1 will also arrive on that date. It will be time to welcome a new update on all our devices.
These are the best functions that come with iOS 16.1...In this version we will see that we have a new function that allows us to modify the permissions to copy and paste elements in each application. Within the settings of each application in the Settings application, we can modify the permissions in three options:
-Ask: The app should continue with the question of being able to paste apps from other apps.
-Deny: The app cannot paste content from other apps.
-Allow: Allow the app to paste content from other apps without asking for permission again.
In this way, Apple tries to get regular flow of content that we can paste between apps within iOS. This function will see the light with the final version of iOS 16.1 that will arrive on October 24th, as we mentioned.
