SAMSUNG

Galaxy S23 Ultra will have 200 MP camera

Earlier this week, we got our first look at the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra thanks to leaked renders, also with a lot of leaks related to the phone's specs. One of the many is that the Ultra model will have a 200 MP.

Dutch outlet Galaxy Club has now claimed that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will actually have a 200MP main camera, citing "information we've received". The complaint comes after the whistleblower on social networks Ice Universe and a Korean news site previously claimed the phone would have a 200 MP sensor.

Samsung would not be the first to offer a smartphone with such a sensor, as Motorola previously launched the X30 Pro in China and the Edge 30 Ultra in global markets. In addition to the main sensor, the S23 Ultra is expected to offer a camera system similar to the S22 Ultra. That means an ultra-wide objective, a 3x telephoto lens and a 10x periscope.
