RAZER
Razer has announced the Hammerhead HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming Headphones, aimed at game console users from Sony and Microsoft. The novelty will go on sale next month for $150.
Buyers will be able to choose between two versions of the Hammerhead HyperSpeed: white with blue accents for PlayStation consoles and black with green accents for Xbox owners. The headphones feature active noise cancellation as well as proprietary Chroma RGB lighting. The design includes two microphones with support for noise suppression.
The package includes a USB Type-C audio transmitter as well as a USB Type-C to USB Type-A adapter, which will be useful for Xbox Series X and Series S console users as they do not have a USB Type-C connector. The headphones can be paired with mobile devices via 2.4GHz and via Bluetooth 5.2.
According to reports, the Xbox version of the headphones will also be able to connect to the PlayStation, while the PlayStation version will not work with the Xbox. This is because the Xbox version of the headphones uses a special security chip in the wireless adapter which is required to work with Microsoft consoles. Despite this difference, both models cost the same.
According to Razer, the supplied wireless adapter offers audio with low latency (25-35ms). As for the autonomy of the novelty, taking into account the capacity of the charging case, the headphones can go without recharging for up to 30 hours. The headphones themselves can operate up to 8 hours without recharging.
