KYOCERA

Novo smartphone Kyocera ajudará a controlar a criança

Japanese brand launches new gadget that helps parents monitor their children

Kyocera introduced the Kids Mobile KY-41C smartphone for children(image above). This device aims, first and foremost, to ensure the safety of its small owner, both in life and on the net. The model does not have a browser, games and app store, and all photos and videos taken with the built-in camera are sent to the parents' cell phone. In addition, parents can set the time when the child should return home, and one hour before the scheduled time, the smartphone will inform the parents of their whereabouts every 15 minutes, as well as notify them when the child arrives home. .

Kyocera Kids Mobile KY-41C also has an emergency call function. Just pull the cord, and a call will reach parents' phones and rescue services, and the smartphone will turn on the beeper with a volume of 100 dB. So that the child is always in touch and hears incoming calls, parents can turn off silent mode remotely on the KY-41C. Finally, a reminder can be sent to the child's smartphone asking them to wash their hands and, when this is done, the device will send a notification to the parents.

Among the technical features of the Kyocera Kids Mobile KY-41C is a 3.4-inch TFT touchscreen that uses acrylic instead of glass, a 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support, and a USB Type-C connector. The smartphone is dustproof and waterproof according to IP68 protection degree. The novelty will appear in Japan in February 2023 in three colors: yellow, lavender and blue.
