Sony has published a teaser, according to which the announcement of a new camera from the Cinema line will take place on September 28th. The event is scheduled for 10 am (Brasilia time).
As previously reported, this camera will be the new Sony FX30 APS-C cine camera. The novelty will receive an E-mount support and a sensor with a resolution of 26 megapixels. In design it will be very similar to the older model Sony FX3, and many of the features of the older camera will be in the new Sony FX30.
Likely Features of Sony FX30:
-APS-C sensor with a resolution of 26 megapixels, perhaps exactly the same as the Fujifilm X-H2S.
-Same video performance as Sony FX3: cinematic color reproduction with S-Cinetone technology. There is support for HDR-HLG, Cinetone and the usual S-Log3 and S-Gamut3 profiles. Up to 4K 120fps video recording, unlimited 4K 60fps recording, 16-bit streaming via HDMI, 600 Mbps maximum bit rate, 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording, XAVC S (H.264) and XAVC HS (H .265) ), write by proxy.
-Same body design as FX3.
-Estimated price: around $2,500.
Let me also remind you that in early September, Sony released a professional compact full-frame PTZ camera with remote control from the Cinema Line family - FR7. This camera is suitable not only for live broadcasts, but also for filming, which is shown in the camera's commercials.
