REDMI

Both renders and live photos of the Redmi A1 smartphone (in real image above), a completely new and super-budget model, have appeared on the web. The official debut of the device will take place on September 6, but it is already possible to evaluate both the design of the novelty and the characteristics.
The design can't be called some kind of revelation: the use of a waterdrop-shaped screen on an ultra-budget smartphone is pretty predictable. But the camera unit doesn't try too hard to copy other Xiaomi models or competitors. Also noteworthy is the “under the skin” textured lid.
The hardware base of the device will be the budget SoC MediaTek Helio A22. Interestingly, this model will not have the classic MIUI interface, instead MIUI Lite, actually pure Android. This option was created specifically for budget devices.
Redmi A1 will not have a fingerprint scanner, the battery capacity will be 5000mAh, it will support 10W charging.
The novelty will receive an IPS screen with a diagonal of 6.52 inches and HD+ resolution. The front camera is 5 megapixels, the main being dual, with sensors with a resolution of 8 and 2 megapixels. The base is expected to have 2GB of RAM and 32GB of flash memory, and at least the cost of that smartphone option will be below the $100 mark.
