Lenovo is preparing a gaming laptop from the IdeaPad Gaming line, which, firstly, does not work on Windows, and secondly, does not have a discrete graphics card.
The full name of the novelty is IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook, and here it is already clear that Chrome OS works like the OS. But the operating system here is just one of the oddities of this gaming laptop. The second, as already mentioned, is the lack of a discrete graphics card. What's more, it's not just a Ryzen 7 6800U, whose iGPU is so powerful that this laptop could hardly be called a gaming laptop. Instead, Intel processors serve as the heart here: Core i3-1215U or Core i5-1235U. Keep in mind that their graphics cores are very modest in their capabilities, so you don't even have to think about some modern and demanding games. In addition, the laptop also has a screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, which creates an additional load on the GPU.
As a result, it's not completely clear why the laptop is gaming, but here even the design is the same as other Lenovo gaming models.
As for the rest of the parameters, the novelty is equipped with a 120 Hz IPS screen with a diagonal of 16 inches, a 512 GB SSD, 8 GB of RAM, a pair of USB-C ports, a pair of USB-A , microSD , Wi-Fi 6 and an aluminum cover.
Pricing data is not yet available.
