Huawei has announced a Nova 10z mid-range smartphone running a proprietary HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system. The device is now available for pre-order and actual deliveries will begin on September 26.
The novelty has a 6.6-inch Full HD+ screen with a resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. There's a 16-megapixel selfie camera in a small hole in the center at the top of the screen.
An unnamed processor with eight processing cores is installed, working together with 8 GB of RAM. The smartphone is powered by a 4000mAh battery with support for 40W fast charging. There are Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 adapters, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The main camera contains three components: a 64-megapixel module with a maximum aperture of f/1.9, an 8-megapixel unit with wide-angle optics, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
The device is protected from moisture and dust according to the IP52 standard. Available in Magic Night Black (black), Frost Silver (silver) and Emerald Green (green). Buyers can choose between 128GB and 256GB storage versions, which are priced at $245 and $280.
