APPLE
Apple traditionally does not disclose the amount of RAM in its smartphones. However, this gap in the case of the new generation of the iPhone has been eliminated by network sources: it is reported that all devices in the iPhone 14 family are equipped with the same amount of RAM.
Last Wednesday, we recall, Apple announced four state-of-the-art smartphones: the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models, as well as the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, debuted.
According to MacRumors, the Xcode 14 beta IDE contains files indicating that all four smartphones have 6GB of RAM on board.
It should be noted that prior to this, Apple bundled the newer and older versions of the iPhone with different RAM sizes. Thus, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini models have 4 GB of RAM, and the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max options are 6 GB. Likewise, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have 4GB, while the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max have 6GB.
Previously, there were rumors on the Internet that iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus smartphones could get LPDDR4X memory, and iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max could get LPDDR5 memory. But there is no information about this in the Xcode data. It will be possible to confirm this information, for example, after opening smartphones by experts from iFixit.
