APPLE

iOS 16 aprendeu a detectar AirPods falsos

iOS 16 already knows how to identify if your AirPod is fake

The iOS 16 operating system expands the list of non-genuine parts that the user will be warned about. This time, the OS will track the AirPods. This innovation appeared in the iOS 16 Release Candidate.

A code was found in the system files that indicates that an alert will appear if users try to connect non-genuine AirPods to their iPhone. A notification will appear on the screen.

There will also be a "Learn More" button in the message, which redirects users to a support article on Apple's website. From the text it will be possible to learn to identify a forgery. At the same time, it remains to be seen whether the new system will block these headphones. Please note that the function does not apply to headphones from other companies, it only serves to detect fakes that are visually original Apple headphones.

Yesterday, at a presentation, Apple announced the new second-generation AirPods Pro. They announced a new audio chip, the ability to adjust the stroking volume, better noise reduction, and other features. You can also record the headphones in the form of a word or Memoji, while the system saves it in memory. As a result, it will be possible to read the engraving and display a custom case (apparently, just its image on the screen) when the AirPods are connected to an iPhone or iPad.

The real version of iOS 16 will be released on September 12.
