Brand announced high-performance gaming laptops Neo 17 and Neo 15 with external liquid cooling systems

XMG has unveiled the Neo 17 (M22) and Neo 15 (M22) high-performance gaming laptops. The new products are powered by AMD Ryzen 6000 series processors, GeForce RTX 3000 graphics accelerators and offer optional external liquid cooling systems.

Both models are based on the eight-core Ryzen 9 6900HX processor clocked up to 4.9 GHz. The old 17-inch XMG Neo 17 comes equipped with a 330W power supply to maximize processor performance, as does the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card, which is offered as one of the options available here. The accelerator is equipped with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory and has a declared total TDP of 175 watts. The laptop's air-cooling system includes a pair of 11mm fans, five heat pipes, and multiple heat sinks.

Optionally for laptops, an external Oasis liquid cooling system is offered, which allows you to reduce the GPU temperature by 15 degrees more efficiently than normal air CO. The Oasis contains a 120 mm radiator with a fan, a coolant reservoir and a pump(image below).

On the front of the LSS there are two tubes through which the Oasis connects to the corresponding sockets on the back of the laptop.

They are connected to an annular tube inside the laptop that is in direct contact with the heat pipes of the laptop's air cooling system.

XMG's new products are ready to offer up to 64GB of DDR5-4800 RAM and the ability to install two M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs.

For the older 17-inch Neo 17 model, there is a choice between GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, RTX 3080 and RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards. This model received a 17-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. The display supports a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, has a peak brightness of 380 cd/m2 and 99% of the sRGB color gamut.

For the younger 15-inch Neo 15 (M22) model, the GeForce RTX 3060 throttle is available. However, if you wish, you can choose a configuration with the mobile flagship GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The laptop received an IPS display with WQXGA resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and 240 Hz refresh rate.

XMG Neo 17 (M22) and Neo 15 (M22) laptops are equipped with mechanical keyboards with Cherry MX switches, 50 million keystrokes and RGB backlighting. The manufacturer notes that both laptops are fully compatible with VR headsets, as the equipment of the new products, among other connectors, includes a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 with DisplayPort 1.4 alternate mode, which connect directly to a discrete graphics card. . The company recalls that the notebook model XMG Neo 15 (E22), released earlier this year, did not have such an opportunity, as the integrated graphics of the 12th generation Intel Core processor were responsible for the Thunderbolt 4 connector with DisplayPort.

The manufacturer estimated the base configuration of the 15-inch model Neo 15 (M22) with the GeForce RTX 3060 at 2,099 euros ($2,156). The price of the 17-inch model with GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and 16GB of RAM starts at 2,949 euros ($3,029). The manufacturer offers an external Oasis liquid cooling system for 199 euros ($205). Both laptop models are now available for pre-order. Their deliveries will begin in September.
