Mix Fold 2: folding screen replacement cost is $725

This week, the world's thinnest smartphone Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 went on sale, which sold out within the first five minutes, as announced by Xiaomi's press service. The device is offered at a price of $1335.

On Xiaomi's official website, they posted information about the cost of out-of-warranty repair for Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. Therefore, the cost of replacing the folding screen is $725, and the external display will cost $133.

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is the only Chinese smartphone to feature a Samsung Eco OLED display with a resolution of 2160 x 1914 pixels. The internal display with 8.02-inch diagonal received an aspect ratio of 4: 3.55. On the outside, there is a 6.56-inch screen with a resolution of 2520 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 21:9. It is made of Samsung E5 AMOLED material.

The phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 single-chip system, a built-in 4500mAh rechargeable battery, supports 67W fast charging, and can be fully charged in 40 minutes. The phone received a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony IMX7666 sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module and a 2x zoom lens.
