Snapchat melhora o seu controlo parental com o seu novo Family Center

Snapchat will have a new parental control

Snapchat will create a parental control, which will be called Family Center, in its application. This is a new initiative that will allow parents to monitor their children remotely.

The Family Center is designed to show parents' commitment to their children in the real world, where they generally know who their friends are and when they're hanging out - but without straying from their private conversations. In the coming weeks, the social network will add a new feature that will make it easier to meet new friends.

At the Family Center, parents can also easily and confidentially report any accounts that may be targeted by social media teams working to help protect users. In addition, parents and teens will have new resources to help them have open conversations about online safety.

Here's what Snapchat says about the Family Center:

To help develop the Family Center, we work with families to understand the needs of parents and teens, recognizing that everyone's approach to parenting and privacy is different. We also consult with cybersecurity and wellness experts to incorporate their views and opinions. Our aim was to create a set of tools designed to reflect the dynamics of real-life relationships and to promote collaboration and trust between parents and teenagers.

There will be more features in the fall, including new parental content controls, and the ability for teens to notify their parents by reporting an account, or content.
