More details on Google's new gadget: the Pixel 7

Although sales of the Google Pixel 6a smartphone are doing well, the computer giant is already preparing for the start of sales of its successor. Here, of course, we are talking about the Pixel 7 smartphone. The novelty should be available in two versions, namely the smaller Pixel 7 and the more advanced Pixel 7 Pro. If the latest online rumors are to be believed, the two newcomers will be available for pre-order in select countries on October 6th of this year and on sale for free from October 13th.

Many experts believe that the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones will really revolutionize the Android smartphone market. It should be equipped with Google's second generation Tensor processors. The processor is said to contribute to both a higher performance of the mobile device and a better user experience, especially in the field of digital photo capture.

If the online rumors are to be believed, the smaller Google Pixel 7 smartphone will have an OLED screen measuring 6.3 inches or 16 centimeters in diagonal, Full HD+ resolution and a frequency of 120 hertz. In addition to the second-generation Google Tensor processor, the hardware contains 8 gigabytes of system memory and 128 or 256 gigabytes of memory for data storage. Image sensors with a resolution of 50, 12 and 8 million pixels will be available for capturing photos and videos. The battery will offer a capacity of 4,620 milliamps hours. The details of the larger Pixel 7 Pro smartphone, however, remain a mystery for now.
