Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 passou no famoso teste de flexão de JerryRigEverything e outros abusos

Galaxy Z Fold4 passed the famous JerryRigEverything bend test

Well-known video blogger Zack Nelson, under the nickname JerryRigEverything, who pokes fun at smartphones, posted a video with a test run of the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 folding phone.

In terms of design, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 has not changed from its predecessor. On the external display, the Gorilla Glass Victus protective glass has been replaced by the Victus Plus. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 is waterproof, with an IPX8 rating, and the inner screen is still protected by a plastic film.

Gorilla Glass Victus Plus didn't add any scratch resistance as the outer screen was still scratched at 6 (on the Mohs hardness scale) and the deeper striations remained at 7. Meanwhile, the protective coating on the inner screen is quite soft, so Samsung warns that even fingernails can leave indelible marks.

On both screens there were traces of burns from a lighter and scratches, coarse sand was poured into the smartphone on both sides of the hinge, but it failed to disrupt the device's performance.

As a result, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 has passed the bending test, not only when folded, but also when unfolded, where it feels especially fragile.
