Find X6 line will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 hardware base

At the end of February 2022, the OPPO Find X5 flagship line was presented. Now the social network Weibo has information about the new generation of these smartphones.

According to the verified Digital Chat Station, the lineup will include at least two models: OPPO Find X6 and OPPO Find X6 Pro. The base version will be built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform. The Pro version will be powered by the not-yet-introduced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 single-chip system.

The blogger also claims that the OPPO Find X6 Pro model will receive an improved rear camera with the latest Sony IMX989 image sensor (1-inch optical format). In the Find X3 and Find X5 lines, we remember, the Sony IMX766 sensor with 1 / 1.56 inch optical format was used. If you switch to a one-inch sensor, the quality of photographs will be much higher.

Digital Chat Station also noted that OPPO Find X6 smartphones will be equipped with a proprietary 6nm Mariana MariSilicon X chip for image processing.

The official presentation of the new products is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.
