M5 4G model with MediaTek hardware base and Full HD+ panel will hit the market later this year

A little over a week has passed since the global debut of the Poco M4 5G smartphone based on the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip, and Xiaomi has begun to prepare for the announcement of a new smartphone in the Poco M line. Poco India's official Twitter page.

Presumably we are talking about the Poco M5 4G smartphone. Judging by the teaser image, the manufacturer intends to use the MediaTek Helio G99 6nm single-chip system. This chipset combines two Cortex-A76 cores capable of reaching a frequency of 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 2 GHz.

According to rumors, the developers will use a 6.58-inch IPS display that offers Full HD+ resolution. The operating system will be Android 12 with a proprietary MIUI 13 shell. The amount of RAM will be 6 GB.

The presentation of new items will take place in early autumn.
