Today it became known that the new phone with an Honor folding screen and the proprietary Magic UI skin will be released later this year.
The source said the smartphone, called Honor Magic V2, will run Magic UI 7.0 and go on sale in December. Honor CEO Zhao Ming previously revealed that Honor will bring more cross-device interactions and full features in Magic UI 7.0. The same source added that the Huawei Mate X3 and FreeBuds 5 headphones will also be released in December.
The well-known Digital Chat Station recently revealed that the upcoming new Honor phone with a foldable screen will use a large battery with a total capacity of 5000mAh. It will consist of two cells with a capacity of 2030 mAh and 2870 mAh respectively. This will allow the Honor Magic V2 to set a battery capacity record among foldable phones.
On January 10 this year, Honor launched the Honor Magic V phone, which features a 7.9-inch foldable OLED screen, built-in 4750 Honor Magic V2 battery, and supports 66W wired charging.
