GIGABYTE

Gigabyte Technology announced the Aorus Gen5 AIC Adapter, which can be used to form a high-performance storage array using M.2 solid state drives (SSDs).
The novelty has a unique slot design. The PCIe 5.0 interface is used to communicate with the computer (PCIe 4.0/3.0 compliant). The card is intended for powerful workstations and gaming desktops.
The Aorus Gen5 AIC adapter has four connectors for M.2 NVMe PCIe 5.0 modules up to 16 TB. When combined in a RAID array, you can get a transfer rate of up to 60 GB/s.
The board is equipped with eight temperature sensors and an active cooling system with a 50 mm fan based on double ball bearings. The rotation speed of the latter is adjusted depending on current conditions.
We are talking about compatibility with the latest motherboards for AMD and Intel processors. About when and at what price the Aorus Gen5 AIC Adapter will go on sale, while nothing is reported.
