Apple has unveiled the upcoming iOS 16 beta 7 test build - the company continues to iron out the flaws found in the mobile platform in anticipation of the final release of the new operating system simultaneously with the launch of the iPhone 14 due in September.
Previously, it was reported that iOS beta 6 was the last version to which new features were added - in subsequent versions, bugs will be fixed. iOS 16 beta 7 (build 20A5356a) is known to be available for download now for registered developers.
You can get the update by going to your operating system settings. According to Bloomberg, the company is finishing work on iOS 16 and starting to develop the next variant, iOS 16.1.
According to rumors, Apple is planning a special event on September 7 where the company will introduce the iPhone 14 and the new Apple Watch. It is also expected that at the same event, Apple will at least announce the release date of iOS 16, watchOS 9 and tvOS 16. It is possible that it will take place on the 12th of September.
Meanwhile, iPadOS 16, presumably, won't be unveiled until October, as the developer aims to improve the Stage Manager multitasking/multi-window system on tablets ahead of the new product's official debut.
