K50S Pro model will have 200MP main camera

Indian insider Yogesh Brar published a post on the social network Twitter dedicated to the future smartphone Redmi K50S Pro. The blogger revealed the main features of the flagship.

According to the source, the gadget will be based on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 single-chip system. The memory arsenal will include 8GB / 12GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB flash storage. Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 add-on will work as a software platform. However, after some time, an update to Android 13 and MIUI 14 is expected.

The manufacturer will equip the novelty with a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display that supports HDR10+ extended dynamic range. The fingerprint scanner will be integrated into the screen surface. The power supply will be provided by a powerful 5000mAh battery. The wired charging power will be 120 watts. The source also mentions two stereo speakers.

The selfie camera will be equipped with a 20 MP optical drive. A triple camera will be located on the back of the case. Yogesh Brar claims that it will have a 200 MP main module, an 8 MP wide-angle module and a 2 MP macro module.

Not long ago, Redmi boss Lu Weibing announced that the brand is preparing flagship Redmi K50 smartphones based on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, but did not give a release date.
