Brand presents its newest monitor for professional use with Dual QHD resolution

LG introduced the 49-inch UltraWide 49WQ95C-W ultra-wide monitor. The novelty is based on a Nano IPS matrix with a 32:9 aspect ratio and support for Dual QHD resolution or 5120 × 1440 pixels.

The monitor supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The display claims 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a typical brightness of 400 cd/m2. LG notes that the UltraWide 49WQ95C-W monitors are DisplayHDR 400 certified and pre-calibrated at the factory.

The LG UltraWide 49WQ95C-W includes two HDMI 2.0 connectors, one DisplayPort 1.4 and one USB Type-C with support for 90W power transmission. In addition, the specifications indicate the presence of one USB 2.0 Type-B upstream port and two USB Type-A 3.0 downstream ports. The monitor received a 3.5 mm audio jack, as well as a pair of speakers with a power of 10 W each.

The novelty has an ergonomic support that allows you to change the height, tilt and rotation of the screen. The company has not announced the official pricing for the UltraWide 49WQ95C-W. However, according to DisplaySpecifications, the monitor is expected to cost around $1,700.
