Zenfone 9 is launched with a starting price of €800

ASUS has announced the Zenfone 9 smartphone – a powerful device enclosed in a relatively compact body. In the European market, the novelty will be available at an estimated price of €800.

The novelty is equipped with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with eight cores (up to 3.2 GHz). The amount of LPDDR5 RAM can be 8 and 16 GB. The UFS 3.1 flash drive in the first case has a capacity of 128 or 256 GB, in the second – only 256 GB. There is no microSD card slot provided.

On the back, there is a dual camera. It contains a 50-megapixel main unit with a Sony IMX766 sensor and hybrid stabilization, as well as a 12-megapixel module based on a Sony IMX363 sensor with wide-angle optics (113 degrees). The front camera is made up of a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 sensor.

The smartphone is protected from moisture and dust according to the IP68 standard. Dimensions are 146.6 × 68.2 × 9.5 mm, weight – 165 g. A 4300 mAh battery with a 30 W HyperCharger is used.
