Model 12 Ultra will have 2K display, 120 watt wireless charger and Leica lenses

It's only been a few days since the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro smartphones, as well as the more affordable Xiaomi 12X, were officially unveiled. It is now known that the supplier may soon launch another productive device. We are talking about the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, which is being developed under the codename L1 and may be presented to the general public in the second half of February.

According to the source, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will receive a telephoto lens with a periscopic lens, which will become one of the device's differentials. The manufacturer is believed to be using sensors from Leica, which recently ended its collaboration with Huawei on mobile cameras. According to reports, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be equipped with a main camera, which is made in the form of a round module, which includes four sensors.

The prediction is that the novelty will receive a 6.6-inch display, which is made with AMOLED technology, supports 2K resolution and offers a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. A similar panel has already been used by the manufacturer in the Xiaomi 12 Pro recently introduced. As for the hardware base, the “heart” of the new development will likely be a productive Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It should also support fast wired charging technology with a capacity of up to 120 watts.
