Moving songs from Spotify to Apple Music

Possibilities to get music from Spotify and Apple Music – but also vice versa to/from other music services – are many. Some ways are more complicated, others easier. Probably the most complicated and time-consuming thing you can do is manually add music to your library and distribute it to playlists.

Fortunately, it's different. At first, it's a shame that individual platforms don't ask if you don't have an account elsewhere and if you don't want to move the music. Unfortunately, this doesn't work, so you must rely on third-party services.

Probably the most effective is the SongShift app. You can easily download it from App Store. The application is in English, but its control is so simple that even a person who doesn't like English can handle it. So how do you move music using this app?

-Download the SongShift app on your iPhone and find it on the App Store

-When starting the app, you select the services you want to move the music between

-You log into apps via SongShift

-Use the “+” button in the upper right corner to select the source you will migrate music from

-Select a playlist and confirm, the app will understand where you want to move the music

-After that, the song will be converted for some time (depending on the size of the playlist(s))

-You can then check the individual warehouses to see if everything fits as it should.

-And all that's left is to confirm and convert the song

-There, you have your old playlist in the new app!

It's also fair to say that playlists can only be moved one at a time. If you want to migrate multiple playlists at once, you must have a premium version of the app, which costs 139 kronor a month.

So now we've figured out how to put individual playlists into Apple Music. But what about the entire music library? The first four steps from the previous manual are the same, so follow these steps:

-You must change the option “playlist” to “song”

-Choose to move entire library

-Again, wait for the song to play, which will last according to the number of songs.

-you can check the music

-You will confirm your selection and the song will be converted.

-Okay, your library is being moved from Spotify to Apple Music

You can also transfer music from your computer...Moving music from one app to another is therefore easier than it might first appear. There are many apps that can do this, but through SongShift it is a very simple operation that everyone can handle.

Of course, you can also transfer music from your computer, where I can recommend a web application, for example Tune in to my music. Basically works like SongShift, computer only. It's up to you what you wear in the end and what is most comfortable for you.

The only thing that can theoretically limit you is the scope of your music library. Interestingly, Spotify offers a database of up to 70 million songs, while Apple Music “only” 50 million songs. Music Youtube has a total of 60 million songs, but it also offers audio versions of videos and live shows, so it is the most extensive equipment.
