STERAMING

Cobra Kai has already finished the fifth season

The fourth season of Netflix-produced Cobra Kai took the hit teen drama to the next level with new and old characters coming into action. Although the new season has only been out for a few days on the streaming service, the show's creators recently revealed that they have many ideas reserved for the fifth season.

In a recent interview, show creators Hayden Schlossberg, Jon Hurwitz and Josh Heald discussed what awaits us in the next season of Cobra Kai. During the series, in fact, it's impossible not to notice how unexpected changes occurred that changed the direction that some characters intended to take. heald said:

'''Sometimes the show has changed, other times it hasn't. However, we still have a plan to permanently end the games. We're still writing beyond season five. But it was fun to introduce these new characters and related stories and let them lead at times''...

The Cobra Kai characters are constantly on the move, forming alliances and gaining new enemies. However, their different styles and personalities clash, causing division but also increasing the tenacity of their students. For that reason, significant tension has emerged between characters such as Daniel's daughter Samantha LaRusso (Mary Mouser) and Johnny's first student Miguel Diaz (Xolo Maridueña).

Season five of Cobra Kai, however, officially ended filming in Atlanta, Georgia, weeks before the fourth season premiered on Netflix. Although a release date has yet to be announced, Season 5 will have to deal with how competing fighters will handle Cobra Kai's All Valley Karate Tournament victory, as well as Terry Silver's (Thomas Ian Griffith) comeback who took Cobra Kai from John Kreese (Martin Kove).

In a previous interview, Schlossberg said that season five will show how things could have turned out if Daniel LaRusso had lost the competition within Karate Kid III. Other than that, while creators aren't yet sure how many seasons of Cobra Kai will take place, the franchise has the potential to have more storylines across six seasons. In this regard, Macchio has also stated that he is open to another movie from the Karate Kid and would be willing to end the Netflix series with a movie
