OnePlus 10 with the brand new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is coming to market soon

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau announced that the next smartphones in the OnePlus 10 series will receive the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The announcement of devices in the Chinese market is expected in January.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 product contains eight processing cores, including the powerful Kryo Prime core clocked at up to 3.0GHz. The new generation of Adreno accelerator is busy with graphics processing. The Snapdragon X65 5G built-in modem offers subscriber data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbps.

According to Mr. Lau, OnePlus is optimizing the smartphone software specifically for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 platform. This means that the devices will deliver maximum performance.

The series is known to include the OnePlus 10 entry-level version and the OnePlus 10 Pro modification. The latter is credited with the presence of a 6.7-inch Quad HD + AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, 8/12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS 3.1 flash drive with 128/256 GB capacity.

The equipment will include a triple camera developed in partnership with Hasselblad. It will combine a 48 megapixel sensor, a 50 megapixel unit with wide-angle optics and an 8 megapixel telephoto module.
