According to Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos spends more time in the jacuzzi
SpaceX and Tesla founders and the richest man in the world, Elon Musk, advised former Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos to spend more time at his space company, Blue Origin, rather than relax. The businessman said this during a conversation with Financial Times reporters.
''Bezos takes himself very seriously. In a way, I'm trying to get him to spend more time on Blue Origin so they can progress further. As a friend of mine says, he should spend more time in the Blue Origin and less time in the Jacuzzi,'' Musk said. During the interview, the entrepreneur also suggested that Bezos “does not want to spend enough mental energy studying the details of engineering”...Musk says this sets him apart from the former head of Amazon and the current head of aerospace company Blue Origin.
Remember that in late October, Elon Musk became the richest man in Forbes ranking history. At that time, his fortune was estimated to be over $271 billion. In early November, the founder of Tesla and SpaceX became the first person whose fortune was estimated to be more than $300 billion. Interestingly, before Musk topped the list of the richest people in the world, for a long time Jeff Bezos was in the line of that ranking.
Blue Origin began operations in 2000, and the first launch of its own New Shepard rocket took place in 2015. Since then, the company has carried out a series of test flights and in the summer of 2021 it carried out the first suborbital flight with a crew on board.
