Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 has its features leaked on the web before launch
You can see that the Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021) has the on/off switch and the volume switch in the right-hand frame with a microphone, and on the left is the SIM/microSD card slot. At the top is another microphone flanked by two speakers and at the bottom is the USB-C port with a pair of speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack. You also get a selfie camera on the right side panel of the 10.5” FullHD+16:10 LCD, using a 5MP sensor. On the back is an 8 MP main camera with a black ring and below that is the Samsung logo, which was placed in the center of the rear panel in previous leaks.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021) has a Unisoc Tiger T618 SoC paired under the hood with either 3 or 4 GB of RAM. The tablet will have three storage options (32/64/128 GB) and will run Android. The source doesn't tell us which version exactly, but Geekbench suggests it will boot Android 11.
To power the entire package, there will be a 7,040 mAh battery, but it's not clear how quickly it will charge. Other highlights of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021) include support for Dolby Atmos, face unlock, side-mount fingerprint reader, dual-band Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity. But there will also be Wi-Fi-only models for those who don't want cellular connectivity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021) will come in three colors and will start at €230 in Europe. The source said it will be available in mid-January 2022.
