iQOO

The brand's new top-of-the-line gadget will be released Jan. 5 in China

Vivo today revealed the official release date of the next iQOO 9 flagships. The new series, which will include the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro, will be released on January 5th in China. In addition, the company has released the first official image of the next flagship.

According to the teaser, the smartphone will receive a large rectangular block from the main camera, which will combine three lenses and an LED flash. Along the rear panel, there will be a decorative strip in the colors of the BMW Motorsport brand, which iQOO has partnered with.

In addition to this official poster, the reputable Chinese technology blog Digital Chat Station also shared images of the back of the smartphone. It generally mimics the official poster, but the white back is adorned with a decorative dragon motif. It is also worth noting that the inscription on the main camera block confirms that the smartphone will have optical image stabilization. It is reported that the iQOO 9 Pro camera will receive a 50 megapixel main sensor. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

As for the display, it is assumed that the iQOO 9 Pro can get the same matrix as the iQOO 8 Pro. This is a curved 6.78 inch AMOLED screen with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The iQOO 9 series smartphones are expected to receive a 4700mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
