IKEA

Company launches PowerBank

According to German sources, branded reserve batteries with wireless charging appeared at the IKEA store in Cologne. The company has long started to integrate wireless charging into branded furniture, but PowerBank has not yet been included in the IKEA product line.

According to the device purchase report, the IKEA PowerBank with fabric top and “+” symbol on top of the package has a capacity of 6500 mAh. Interestingly, batteries are replaceable, depending on the source, so after capacity loss they can be replaced. For home appliances built into furniture, this is a useful property, but the small battery capacity and relatively low wireless charging power – just 5 W – might make you think about the convenience of purchasing.

The issue price is 20 euros. The package did not include a USB Type-C cable, which is worth paying attention to, although today this is hardly an issue. It is not yet known whether similar accessories will appear in other countries in IKEA stores.
