Kickstarter introduced a wireless headset model with support for Sony's LDAC codec
On the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter presented a design of an interesting novelty – X-Boat Pro fully wireless submersible headphones with a unique charging case design
In-ear modules are equipped with 13mm drivers for high quality sound. Support for Bluetooth 5.2 is implemented and IPX4 certification means waterproof and dustproof.
Headphones were supported by Sony's LDAC codec. It is a signal encoding technology for high definition audio transmission. LDAC maintains a maximum bit depth and frequency range of 96kHz / 24-bit for high compression and playback efficiency.
An active noise cancellation (ANC) system is provided. On the outside of the headphones, there are touch control pads.
The main feature of the gadget is the aforementioned charging case, which involves plugging in headphones from the outside. This allows you to quickly remove modules and place them in your ears with one hand. No need to open the box.
The alleged battery life on one battery charge amounts to five hours. Taking into account the case's intermediate recharges, this number reaches 40 hours. The latter can be recharged from a smartphone via the USB interface.
X-Boat Pro wireless headphones are available for purchase for around $100. Deliveries are scheduled for January of next year.
