Reno7: Novel notification light teased as retailer reveals specifications about multiple models
Oppo has already revealed that it will be announcing the Reno7 series in China on November 25, which includes the Reno7, Reno 7 SE and the Reno 7 Pro. Now, JD.com has published listings for the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro, which feature slightly different hardware. Both will be available in the same colours though: blue, gold and grey.
According to the two listings, the Reno7 has a Snapdragon 778G SoC and a 4,500 mAh battery within a 7.59 mm frame. The device will also have a 64 MP primary camera supported by two other rear-facing cameras and a single front-facing one. The Reno7 will be available with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, too.
By contrast, the Reno7 Pro possesses a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and is 7.45 mm thick. However, it contains a 4,500 mAh battery that it can recharge at up to 65 W. Oppo does not mention the Reno7's charging capabilities in its teasers, so we can only assume that it is less than 65 W. Additionally, the Reno7 Pro has what appears to be a ToF or colour sensor, along with three rear-facing cameras. It seems that the Reno7 Pro does not rely on a 64 MP primary camera either, although Oppo has not provided any details about this sensor yet.
Incidentally, Oppo has confirmed that at least the Reno7 Pro has a notification light built into its camera housing. It is unclear how many Reno7 series devices will support this feature, unfortunately.
