GPD

Pocket 3 raises nearly US$300,000 from backers early in its crowdfunding campaign

GPD has finally listed the Pocket 3 on Indiegogo, having first teased the device in September. So far, the company has raised HKD$2,285,080 (~US$293,589), eclipsing its modest HKD$200,000 (~US$25,696) campaign goal. The Pocket 3's Indiegogo campaign will last until December 20, for reference.

The Pocket 3 is available with either a Core i7-1195G7 or a Pentium Silver N6000 processor. The mini-laptop comes with an 8-inch display and a 38.5 Wh battery regardless of the version you choose. Additionally, both versions have aluminium unibody chassis, measure 198 x 137 x 20 mm and weigh 725 g

The Pocket 3 starts at US$649 for the Pentium Silver N6000 version and US$999 for the Core i7-1195G7 edition. Both come with active styluses, which must be purchased separately outside of the Indiegogo campaign. Incidentally, GPD states that the mini-laptop will cost between 20% and 30% more once the campaign has finished.

You can also purchase versions with KVM and RS-232 modules, which add nearly US$100 to the price of both configurations. GPD hopes to ship all orders in January 2022.
