The DiRT 5 gameplay just got more interesting

In late July, Codemasters showed a trailer for the DiRT 5 racing simulator, showing the full gameplay. If then the emphasis was on driving in the mud, the new video is dedicated to racing on icy tracks in Ice Breaker mode.
The Codemasters team noted that the arcade racing game is still in development, so the gameplay and graphics may still change slightly, but the video takes a look at ice racing in Norway as part of the Ice Breaker.
"Minimal traction and maximum fun - The Ice Breaker challenges players to face short circles that are completely on the ice, with smooth curves and idyllic surroundings. Engine control, precise deviation and inertia are the keys to mastering this new mode in the DiRT series" , the developers said in the description.
Ice Breaker trails will be available not only in Norway, but also elsewhere, including Nepal - you can even ride on the frozen East River Strait, near New York's Roosevelt Island, where up to 12 riders can compete together. DiRT 5 will be released on October 9 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X coming later. A version for Google Stadia will follow in early 2021.
