Halo: 343 Industries to offer free multiplayer at 120fps on Xbox
Microsoft and developer 343 Industries have confirmed rumors that Halo Infinite will offer free multiplayer and support for the next Xbox Series X console at 120fps.
The official Halo Twitter account said, “Halo is for everyone. We can confirm free multiplayer support and 120 fps support on the Xbox Series X. We will share more details later. “

It is worth noting that the Irish store Smyths posted this information a little earlier on its Xbox Series X page: “The legendary Halo series returns and features the greatest Master Chief campaign ever, in addition to impressive free multiplayer environments. Enjoy up to 120 fps, dramatically reduced load times and the most seamless gaming experience on the Xbox Series X. ”
Windows Central also wrote about free multiplayer earlier, with reference to its informants, citing as an example the Call of Duty series, in which Warzone battle royale is available without purchasing the base game. Apparently, Microsoft decided not to hide this information anymore.
Halo Infinite will be released for Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store later this year. The sniper will also be available via Xbox Game Pass. The plot campaign is described with the following words: “When hope is lost and the fate of humanity is at stake, the Chief Master is ready to face the most cruel enemy he has ever faced. Feel yourself in the armor of humanity's greatest hero, immerse yourself in an epic adventure and finally enjoy the scale of the Halo ring itself."
