APPLE

Company has almost 50% of the smartphone market in the USA
Canalys released statistics on the United States smartphone market for the second quarter of this year: amid the pandemic, the industry experienced a 5% decline on an annual basis.
In three months - from April to June - about 31.9 million smart cell phones were delivered to the United States. For comparison: a year earlier, shipments were equal to 33.4 million units.
However, analysts say, the 11% growth was recorded quarterly. This suggests that the smartphone market has started to gradually recover from the impact of the coronavirus.
Apple is the undisputed leader in the United States, controlling almost half of the industry - 47.1%. In second place is the South Korean giant Samsung with 23.2%. Thus, these two companies are responsible for supplying every seven out of ten smartphones to the American market.

LG is in third place with 11.0%. Next comes Lenovo and TCL, whose results in the last quarter were 6.9% and 4.0%, respectively. All other manufacturers together account for only 7.7% of the U.S. smartphone market.
