PepsiCo migrates to the Azure cloud service

PepsiCo, one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world, announced a partnership with Microsoft. The objective of the cooperation will be to meet the growing demand for food and beverages, in addition to improving the company's operations and customer service. In a five-year partnership, Microsoft will become the food giant's leading cloud storage provider.
PepsiCo will take its global data warehouse to Azure. In addition, all 270,000 employees worldwide will use Microsoft 365 and Teams. In a press release, PepsiCo's CIO, Seth Cohen, said the company will strive to improve service delivery capabilities to meet the growing demand for essential goods by introducing innovative technologies into workflows.
Furthermore, this collaboration is a great victory for Microsoft, as PepsiCo acts as a strategically important partner for Microsoft, because it is a huge corporation with a presence in the global market, which unites 23 brands that generate more than $ 1 billion in revenue combined per year.
Interestingly, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo's main competitor, also signed a five-year contract with Microsoft in April this year.
