A gaming monster is introduced
As expected, ASUS introduced the ROG Phone 3, the most powerful smartphone in the ROG family. It uses the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus 5G mobile platform (one of the first devices of its kind) and will hit the US market in September.
ASUS ROG Phone 3 will receive three memory configurations. In the European market, the main version with 16/512 GB will cost € 1099, the simplest 12/512 GB model will cost € 999 and the most affordable Strix Edition 8/256 GB version with a simpler Snapdragon 865 processor will cost € 799.
Features include support for Qualcomm's Snapdragon Elite Gaming technology, an intuitive AI interface and an updated GameCool 3 cooling system, designed to deliver high performance without losing frequencies due to overheating.

ASUS ROG Phone 3 features a 6.59-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen (120Hz, 90Hz or 60Hz more economical) and 1ms latency for high color accuracy with the Delta E
The design of the ROG Phone 3 maintains the main gaming advantages of its predecessors, including the exclusive side loading door. There are also innovations such as a transparent part of the rear cover above the radiator. With a 6,000 mAh battery, the ROG Phone 3 offers excellent battery life.

The ROG Phone 3 has 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 20% more energy efficient and 51% faster than LPDDR4. With that, applications and games will be loaded at full speed, thanks to the UFS 3.1 512 GB unit. For those who want to buy the most affordable ROG Phone 3, ASUS has launched the Strix Edition based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, combined with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
Pay attention to the features of ASUS and the camera. The ROG Phone 3 is equipped with a camera with a powerful Sony IMX686 main module with a resolution of 64 MP and an aperture of f / 1.8. It is complemented by a 13MP ultra wide angle module, with a 125 ° viewing angle and a 5MP macro module.

The ROG Phone 3 also has several interesting video features. The smartphone can offer HDR video recording and directional audio (when background noise is silenced and voice is amplified). You can also record clips at 8K resolution at 30 fps or 4K at up to 120 fps. In Full HD, you can record at up to 480 fps. There is also a Pro Video mode, which gives access to all manual video settings, similar to the Pro Photo mode for photos.

Comfortable gaming control is provided by two AirTrigger 3 programmable ultrasonic sensors, and the system has been complemented with a motion sensor, which offers players even more control options. The latest and improved performance optimization software in Mode X offers faster screen refresh rates, greater touch sensitivity and faster network connectivity.

The ROG Phone 3 also has an updated audio system tuned in collaboration with Dirac (75 points on DXOMark Audio). A new dedicated game mode enhances in-game sound effects for a more immersive gaming experience. And the powerful dual front speakers at the top and bottom of the phone are now able to deliver even richer and more detailed stereo sound in landscape orientation.
The smartphone also received new accessories: ROG Kunai 3 game controller for more convenient control; ROG clip to use your smartphone with PlayStation 4, Google Stadia or Xbox controllers; ROG TwinView 3 docking station, with the ability to display images on a large screen; Protective case ROG Lighting Armor with Aura lighting.

We can also mention the AeroActive Cooler 3 of the active cooler with a USB-C port on the bottom, which allows you to charge the ROG Phone 3 while you play. It also allows you to connect traditional wired headsets through the 3.5 mm jack for maximum compatibility.
Separately, it is worth noting ASUS 'cooperation with Unity Technologies and Google Stadia. Game developers using the Unity engine to create 3D content in real time will have exclusive access to the ROG Phone five-feature plug-in, making it easy to optimize their games for the ROG Phone.

And the Google Stadia app pre-installed on the ROG Phone allows you to stream sophisticated games at up to 60fps and 4K resolution with HDR and 5.1 surround sound.
