EXCLUSIVE: New Galaxy Watch 3 Features Unveiled
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is expected to be unveiled on August 5 during the Galaxy Unpacked event. However, a YouTube user somehow managed to get hold of the device without notice and filmed a video showing its design and functions. The three-minute clip confirmed many of the previous leaks.
The video shows the version of Galaxy Watch 3 with a 1.2 inch screen in a 41 mm case. The very narrow panel actually rotates around the screen. The control buttons on the device have undergone a makeover. In the new incarnation, the wearable device looks more like an ordinary watch, rather than the Samsung smart devices of previous generations, which will appeal to many users. The device is capable of making a cardiogram, has 8 GB of internal memory and is protected according to the IP68 standard.
Interestingly, the video was published on July 24th and has already managed to get over 100,000 views. Generally, companies react harshly to these leaks and require the removal of such content, but in this case, for some reason, no action has been taken.
In addition, enthusiasts of XDA developers have examined the code of the complementary application of the Samsung smartwatch in detail and discovered several interesting details about the next device. Gesture control and fall detection were confirmed, as was the Apple Watch. Samsung's new watch is expected to be officially unveiled in just over a week. All the details about the long-awaited device will be revealed.
