Brand new model arrives with new processor

The popular Geekbench benchmark became a source of information about the technical characteristics of another smartphone not officially presented: it was the A72 5G device from the Chinese company OPPO.
The device appears under the designation PDYM20. I confirmed information previously announced that the “heart” of the smartphone will serve as a medium-level processor MediaTek MT6853. This chip allegedly hides the next Dimensity 720 chip. The product will include a 5G modem that provides support for fifth generation mobile networks. The base clock speed of the processor is indicated - 2.0 GHz. The number of computing cores is eight.
The OPPO A72 5G smartphone carries up to 8 GB of RAM. The reference Geekbench talks about using the Android 10 operating system.
According to rumors, the novelty will receive a 6.5-inch Full HD + (2400 × 1080 pixels) screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The 8-megapixel front camera is located in a small hole in the screen. The triple main camera will include sensors with 16, 8 and 2 million pixels. Power will be supplied by a 4040 mAh rechargeable battery with 18-watt fast charging support.
The official presentation of the OPPO A72 5G smartphone is expected in the near future.
