Users complain about the green tint of the screen of the brand new smartphone

OnePlus introduced a mid-range Nord smartphone last week, and a few hours ago, a second device in the family was mentioned in a trial version of OxygenOS. But all is not going well: it is now reported that the first users of the new smartphone began to experience image defects with low levels of backlight brightness, similar to those seen in the OnePlus 8 Pro, launched earlier this year.
Many users of OnePlus Nord started posting about the defect discovered on Reddit(image below) and the company's support forum. Most of them report the same symptoms. Severe color distortion is observed in the screen brightness below 25%. A member of the 9to5Google editorial team faced the same problem when writing a review for OnePlus Nord.

For its part, OnePlus disclaims responsibility for now, claiming that the problems observed by users are not a problem, but the typical behavior of an AMOLED screen, due to its design features, which do not affect daily use and durability of the screen.
Remember that on OnePlus 8 Pro, the manufacturer fixed a similar problem by increasing the minimum brightness level of the backlight in one of the software updates. The company is likely to do the same with Nord.
