Korean brand launches world's first 4K monitor

LG Electronics (LG) announced the UltraGear 27GN950 monitor, which was first reported at the end of last year. The panel is intended for use on desktop gaming systems.
The developer calls the novelty the world's first 4K IPS monitor, with a response time of 1 ms. A 27-inch diagonal Nano IPS array with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels is used.
The panel is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified. Provides 98% coverage of DCI-P3 color space. The monitor is capable of reproducing 1.07 billion colors.
The typical brightness is 400 cd / m2, the refresh rate is 144 Hz. NVIDIA G-SYNC technology helps to improve the quality of the gameplay, improving smoothness and eliminating tears.
The interface set includes HDMI (× 2) and DisplayPort, as well as USB 3.0 ports. The bracket allows the panel to be used in landscape and portrait orientations. You can adjust the height of the screen in relation to the surface and inclination of the table.



The UltraGear 27GN950 will go on sale for an estimated price of $ 750. The timing of the appearance of the novelty on the Russian market is not reported.
